April missions 3 & 4


Last week's mission already has a special essay here: to find your own core values ​​and strength. (For details, please refer to the article, the following is a simple version)

Simply use the two columns to practice

Write in the left, the happiest memory of your life which recalls what you do to make you smile from heart.

After writing the left column, write down the “why” such a thing let you happy on the right.

Everyone’s happy things are different, but the focus is to record and make your own happy moments list, and then go deep to explore in the end what is the reason behind your own happiness.

From the video I extend the follow-up question:

Left: write your best decision in life so far, the right side: write “why” it is the best decision in life.

After this practice, from the right side of the columns you may find several important keywords which are repeated, it means on behalf of that trait or practice is my core strength.

Finally try to describe yourself in one sentence.

This week's mission is to set a savings plan.

If you have a fixed income, please set up an automatic transfer account to save money, in the pay day automatically turn 10~20 % to the saving account.

Make saving money into an automatic action, you can save a lot of will power of the brain.

The focus of this savings plan is to establish a good reward mechanism, save money is a self-control show, how to cultivate long-term self-control? It is through the stage of the reward mechanism to make our brains feel that pressed down short term pleasure is worth it.

This combination of reward and self-control system will help us achieve more long-term goals and regain more inner strength.

簡單來說就是利用兩欄表格來練習

在左邊欄位寫下你生命中最快樂的記憶,回想做了哪些事情會讓你發自內心微笑與感到快樂、幸福。

寫完左欄後,在右邊寫下該事件讓你快樂的原因為何。

會讓每個人快樂的東西都不同,但是重點是盡情的回想與記錄下讓自己快樂的瞬間,之後再去深入探究到底背後是什麼原因讓自己快樂。

從這個影片中我延伸出跟進的問題:

左邊欄位寫下自己此生做過最好的決定,右邊欄位寫下為什麼那是此生做過最好的決定。

我自己在對照上下兩個表格的練習,從右邊欄位找出好幾個重要的關鍵字,而且上下重複出現的關鍵字,代表那個特質或是做法就是我核心力量所在。

最後嘗試用一句話形容你自己?

本周的任務是訂定一個存錢計畫。

如果你有一個固定工作收入,請設立一個自動轉帳存錢的帳戶,在發薪日當天就自動轉百分之十到二十到存錢的帳號中。

把存錢變成一個不用思考的動作,可以節省很多做決定的腦力。

這個存錢計畫的重點在於建立一個良好的獎賞機制,存錢是一種自制力的展現,要怎麼培養長期的自制力?則是要透過階段性的獎賞機制,來讓我們的大腦覺得壓抑眼前享樂是值得的事。

這個獎賞與自制組合,將能夠幫助我們達成更多長期的目標,取回更多內在力量。
